- App settingsCDL Wallet does not create user accounts and does not require registration.NotificationsCDL Wallet may generate local notifications on your device to remind you about document expiration dates.These notifications are created and scheduled entirely on-device and are not processed through CDL Wallet servers.Users are solely responsible for monitoring the validity and expiration status of their documents.Notification delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by:- device settings
- operating system behavior
- notification permissions
- battery optimization
- device storage conditions
- software issues
- user actionsCDL Wallet is not responsible for missed notifications, expired documents, suspended licenses, citations, fines, loss of employment, regulatory violations, or other damages resulting from missed reminders or inaccurate information entered into the App.Camera and Photo Library AccessThe App may request permission to access:- Camera
- Photo LibraryThese permissions are used only for:- scanning documents
- selecting document images
- storing images locally on your deviceCDL Wallet does not upload your photos or documents to external servers.Face ID / BiometricsIf enabled, CDL Wallet may use Face ID or device biometrics to help protect access to the App.Biometric authentication is handled entirely by Apple iOS or Android security systems.CDL Wallet does not collect, receive, process, or store biometric information.Data Storage and User ResponsibilityAll data is stored locally on your device.Users are solely responsible for:- maintaining device backups
- protecting device access
- verifying document accuracy
- ensuring document validity
- complying with all applicable laws and regulationsDeleting the App, resetting the device, or clearing application storage may permanently delete stored information.CDL Wallet is not responsible for data loss, corrupted files, inaccessible documents, device failures, or backup failures.No Legal or Regulatory AdviceCDL Wallet is provided as a convenience tool only and does not provide:- legal advice
- regulatory guidance
- compliance certification
